Lakeview is a city in southern Oregon , USA, founded in 1889 and the administrative seat of Lake County . In 2010, Lakeview had 2,294 residents. Lakeview has an airport and has been on the US rail network since 1911, but only freight trains run to Lakeview.
Lakeview as a type locality
The mine "White King Mine" located near the village of Lakeview considered as type locality for the minerals Heinrichit and Metaheinrichit . A total of around Lakeview have so far 26 recognized minerals and 6 varieties are discovered (as of 2020), so among other orpiment (Engl. Orpiment ) and realgar , abernathyite , Cinnabar ( vermilion ), galena ( galena ), stibnite ( stibnite ) Thomsonite-Ca and uraninite in the Pechblende variety .
