The Lamois River (also: Lamoins River ) is a river on the west coast of Dominica . It runs in Parish St. John and flows south of Prince Rupert Bay (Portsmouth Bay) into the Caribbean Sea .

The Lamois River rises about 350 m above sea level ( ⊙ ), near the source of the Cario River . It runs in a westerly direction and flows into the Caribbean Sea in the south of Picard after a course of 2.5 km. The Cario River catchment area borders to the south and the Picard River to the north .
