The Lansing Bay is a bay on the northwest coast of Coronation Iceland in Archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is located west of the Pomona plateau .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2017. It is named after the SS Lancing , a Norwegian factory ship for whaling that operated between 1925 and 1927 in the waters of the South Orkney Islands.
