Menit is the ancient Egyptian name of the constellation landing peg in the Ramesside star clocks , for which 5 hour stars are given (Q2 to Q6). Menit is the Centaur constellation and the Carina Nebula , which is part of the Ship's Kiel constellation .

Landing stake constellation
The constellation, which symbolized the sky god Menit-weret , is already documented in the pyramid texts of the Old Kingdom . It probably consisted of the seven stars:
