The wooded mountain Landerskopf has a summit height of 362.7 m above sea level. NN and is part of the Frauenseer forest . It is located near Gospenroda , a district of Werra-Suhl-Tal in the Wartburg district in Thuringia .
The cone-shaped mountain towering on the southeastern edge of the Horschlitter Mulde is bordered in the east by the ravine-like Landersgrund. The name "Landers" is said to be derived from a small settlement in Landersgrund.
