The Bavarian Chamber of Notaries is one of the 21 chambers of notaries in Germany. Its jurisdiction extends over the Free State of Bavaria and its seat is in Munich . She is a member of the Federal Chamber of Notaries .

As a corporation under public law, the Bavarian Chamber of Notaries represents the notaries in Bavaria that it brings together. It watches over the reputation of its members, supports the supervisory authorities in their work, promotes the maintenance of notarial law and ensures that the notaries and notary assessors carry out their work diligently and honestly .
It is represented in and out of court by its President and is subject to legal supervision by the Bavarian State Ministry of Justice .
Its president has been Andreas Albrecht since 2012.
