Arndt-Soltmann estate

The Arndt-Soltmann estate is located in Bremen , Oberneuland district , Rockwinkeler Heerstraße 111. The villa was built in 1872 according to plans by Bernhard Bolte and in 1912 according to plans by Hans Haering. It has been a listed building in Bremen since 1973 .

history

The architect Bernhard Bolte acquired the property in 1871 and sold it to the real estate agent Johann Christian David Arndt in 1872. The next single-storey, plastered, white mansion was built in late classicism style for Arndt by Bolte until 1873 .

The park was probably laid out according to plans by Wilhelm Benque .

In 1909, the Soltmann family acquired the property and arranged for it to be converted and increased according to a design by Hans Haering.

The column portico with its four smooth columns and the Corinthian capitals is representative . Later a side garage and the back porch followed .

Today the house is used as a single family home in a park-like garden.
