Country house (Kempten)
The country house in Kempten (Allgäu) is near the St. Lawrence Church befindliches, listed building , which in 1732 as a house of Stiftisches was built estates. Before that, the building in Hohen Gasse, now known as a military hospital , served this purpose.
The country house with the address Residenzplatz 33 is two-storey and has a curved gable . At the western end of the upper floor is a mirror-vaulted hall with three window axes. The room is decorated with stucco, which represents foliage and banding. It is believed that Abraham Bader is the designer. Inside there is now a Commerzbank branch . On the other side of the street is the Zumsteinhaus with the Roman Museum about the Roman settlement Cambodunum .
Behind the main building of the country house is a two-storey building with a gable roof; the former meeting room is on the upper floor. This extension was built together with the main building around 1732.
