The landscape protection area open spaces in the Lühlingsbachtal with 123.8  hectares is located northeast of Alme in the urban area of Brilon . The area was the 2002 district council of Hochsauerlandkreises with the landscape plan Hoppecketal as a conservation area designated (LSG). The LSG is divided into two parts by the federal highway 480 . The Lühlingsbach itself is located in the Lühlingsbachtal nature reserve to the east .

The landscape protection area open spaces in the Lühlingsbachtal was designated as one of 22 landscape protection areas of type B, outskirts, landscape character in the urban area of ​​Brilon. In the urban area there are also four type A landscape protection areas (general landscape protection) and 53 type C landscape protection areas (meadow valleys and significant extensive grassland) with different requirements.

These are open land areas with grassland and arable land .

Protection purpose

The designation was carried out to ensure the diversity and uniqueness of the landscape in the vicinity of the localities and the old agricultural priority areas by keeping it open.

Legal regulations
