Luvsandorjiyn Toiv

Luvsandorjiyn Toiv ( alternative spelling: Luvsandorjiin Toyv ; * 1915 ; † July 29, 1970 in Ulaanbaatar , Mongolia ) was a diplomat and politician of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party (MRVP), who was Foreign Minister of the Mongolian People's Republic between 1968 and 1970 .

Life

Toiv was a member of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party (MRVP) and served as Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York City between 1964 and 1966 . In 1968 he succeeded Mangalyn Dügersüren as Foreign Minister in the government of Prime Minister Yumjaagiin Tsedenbal . He held this post until his death on July 29, 1970, after which Daramyn Yondon took over the office of foreign minister.
