Landscape protection area Südfeld
The landscape protection area Südfeld with 131.11 hectares lies between Altenbüren and Brilon . The area was designated as a landscape protection area (LSG) by the Hochsauerlandkreis in 2008 with the landscape plan of the Brilon plateau . The LSG is used almost entirely for agriculture. The LSG encloses some Aussiedlerhöfe and the nature reserve Gesecker Stein . In the west the LSG goes to the outskirts of Altenbüren. In the north to federal highway 7 . In the east to the nature reserve Einsel / Mückenborn . In the south, the nature reserve grassland belt mostly borders on Südfeld . The LSG is sometimes also referred to as the open country complex south field landscape protection area .
The LSG Südfeld was designated as LSG type B, peripheral locations and landscape character . Among other things, it is forbidden to erect buildings. First afforestation, the new planting of Christmas tree cultures, ornamental branches and tree nursery cultures are also prohibited. In the urban area of Brilon there are 14 landscape protection areas of type B with an area of 2,885 ha in the landscape planning area of the Brilon plateau.
Commandments
According to the expulsion, various commandments have been set. The LSG is to be kept free of forest through agricultural use and maintenance measures. Fallow areas are to be mowed in sections every three years to prevent encroachment. Mowing must not take place before August 1st in order not to destroy broods. When mowing, the cuttings must be transported away. If necessary, fruit trees should be replanted on orchards. Dead fruit trees are to be left as habitat trees. The hedges are to be put on the floor every ten to 15 years, with individual trees being left in place. The hedge work may only be carried out from October 1st to February 28th.
