Landsorts fyr is a lighthouse on the Swedish archipelago island of Öja in the Baltic Sea southeast of Stockholm .
Landsorts fyr is the oldest still in use lighthouse in Sweden. It was commissioned in 1658 by the Dutch merchant Johan van der Hagen, who lived in Stockholm and traded from there, and was built from 1659. It emits its signal at a height of 44.5 m above sea level. In the rock base of the lighthouse there are now locked systems of the Swedish Navy , which u. a. used to fight submarines .
In 1935 the building was placed under state protection as Byggnadsminne .
