Overall, the rural population achieved a degree of organization of well over 90 percent of all agricultural businesses in Lower Saxony. "

history

The association was founded on February 18, 1947 in the city hall of Hanover as an agricultural and economic policy association. The aim of founder Edmund Rehwinkel was a strong professional unit. Over the years, organizations, institutions, associations and clubs in the agricultural environment have established themselves in the upstream and downstream sectors, from employers 'associations to sugar beet growers' associations.

The Landvolk Niedersachsen is one of the largest regional farmers' associations in Germany. Its farmers generate a fifth of the turnover in German agriculture.
