The megalithic beds on the Ruserberg , at Gut Futterkamp in Blekendorf , Plön district , in Holstein are Neolithic megalithic systems from around 3500–2800 BC. On the hill called Ruserberg. The megalithic systems of the funnel beaker culture (TBK) originated between 3500 and 2800 BC. They are listed in the older archaeological literature under "Futterkamp".

Giant beds

The five preserved (only three accessible) structures are the remainder of at least nine monuments of this type. The lengths of the three in line or parallel borders are 56, 53 and 27 m; their widths are between 50 and 6.0 m. Two borders are rectangular, one is slightly trapezoidal . The curbs on each narrow side are up to two meters high in two systems and are therefore significantly larger than those on the other three sides. The longest edging once had around 100 curbs. The long beds are freely accessible.

Dolmen

In the shortest one can still be found the remains of two capstone-free remains of two extended dolmens that were apparently not built at the same time . The chamber in the northeast is characterized by the massiveness of the two pairs of girders on the long sides. The clear width of the chamber is 2.0 × 1.0 meters. A fragment of an undecorated funnel beaker was found .

About 100 m southwest ( 54 ° 17 ′ 45.6 ″  N , 10 ° 37 ′ 47.4 ″  E ) of the three facilities is the heavily disturbed large stone grave ("Futterkamp 4"), which is almost completely covered by bushes and therefore difficult to access. Some of the large curbs of the southeastern border can be seen.

Between Gut Putlos and Hohwacht there are still a few places with up to eight largely preserved megalithic structures in the hinterland near the coast.
