Langensteig is a hamlet in the municipality of Aichstetten in the Ravensburg district in Baden-Württemberg . As part of the municipal reform in Baden-Württemberg , Langensteig was incorporated into Aichstetten on July 1, 1971 as a district of the former Altmannshofen municipality .

The place is about three kilometers northwest of Aichstetten and can be reached via the 7920 district road .

Langensteig was first mentioned in the 13th century as "Langunstaige".

Since 1675 the place belonged to the rule Waldburg-Wurzach.
