The Langhagensee is a lake in the municipality of Lärz in the south of the Mecklenburg Lake District, about ten kilometers southwest of Mirow in southeast Mecklenburg. The Sewekow  - Buschhof road runs north of the lake . The lake borders the state of Brandenburg with its west and south banks . The maximum length and width of the roughly triangular lake is almost identical to about one kilometer. Except for a prominent island in the northeast, the water is hardly structured. The bank is almost completely wooded. Only the north-eastern shore zone is built with bungalows and boathouses. The Sewekow settlement , which belongs to Brandenburg, is a few hundred meters away on the west bank .

The water depth is a maximum of nine meters, on average two to three meters with mostly muddy bottoms. The water can be reached with small boats via the Nebelsee lake in the north. The water depth of the connecting canal is about 25 cm at low tide, the passage width is limited by a bridge to about two meters. The brook Beek , which branches off in the south, is not passable. The Langhagensee is therefore a dead end for water hikers .
