Langheimer Hof

The Langheimer Hof in Rossach , a district of Großheirath in the Upper Franconian district of Coburg , is a protected architectural monument .

Building history

Around 1780 the Schumann family built a farmhouse and an arbor. A barn followed in 1807. The entrance to the courtyard and its gate dates from 1820.

From 2012 the property was repaired. In 2016, the owners received the Medal of the Free State of Bavaria for the exemplary renovation of the monument.

Building description

The ensemble of the courtyard is located in the middle of Rossach. It is a former three-sided courtyard that is now only built on on two sides. The property consists of a farmhouse, a single-storey half-timbered house with a half-hipped roof and an arbor. Some rooms are still furnished with the original Franconian parquet and early classical stucco ceilings . The facade is partially clad with slate and the roof is covered with gutter tiles. The courtyard has a half-timbered barn with a half-hipped roof and a courtyard entrance with a sandstone gate.
