Lapathos , Greek Λάπαθος , Turkish Boğaziçi , is a place in the İskele district of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus , northwest of Famagusta (Gazimağusa) and about 9 km east of Lefkoniko.
Formally, the place is also in the Famagusta district of the Republic of Cyprus .
