The Larberger Egge is an 82 meter high mountain near Bramsche in Lower Saxony , not far from the border with North Rhine-Westphalia . The mountain is often considered to be the westernmost foothills of the Wiehengebirge and is sometimes referred to as "the last tip in the Wiehengebirge". However, the Larberger can dispute this title for the Penter Egge . The latter is located to the east, but still in a "visible" connection to the main ridge of the Wiehengebirge, while the Larberger Egge is located west of the waterways Stichkanal Osnabrück and Mittellandkanal , which themselves are already at the level of the lowlands, and so to some extent isolated and island-like from the contiguous Wiehenkamm.
