Larry Groupé

Lawrence Nash "Larry" Groupé (born April 1957 ) is an American composer .

Life

After Larry Groupé graduated from the Conservatory of Music , the University of the Pacific's Music Faculty , and received an undergraduate ASCAP award in his senior year , he studied composition at the University of California, San Diego , where he received his Master of Music . Subsequently, from 1984 onwards, he became self-employed as a musician and, in addition to recording concerts, composed for television and film. He wrote the music for several films by the American film director Rod Lurie Films, including Deterrence , Character Assassination - Beyond Morality , Nothing but Truth and, most recently, Straw Dogs - Who sows violence .
