Lars Buss

Lars Buss (born June 30,  1978 ) is a former German basketball player .

career

Buss played between 1997 and 2000 for TK Hannover in the 2nd basketball league , for the 2000/01 season he moved within this division to BBC Bayreuth , which he strengthened until 2004 and was a constant in the team under the basket. In 2004, the 2.02 meter long inside player went to Bayreuth's relay competitor BV Chemnitz 99 , in 2005 he moved on to TuS Jena , for which he also played in the second division and in spring 2007 achieved promotion to the basketball Bundesliga . For the Thuringian team, he only played in the Bundesliga, but left the club during the season and in January 2008 moved to the Central German Basketball Club in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA .

In summer 2008 he was signed by the SCH Würzburg Baskets and marched with the team through 2010 through the 2nd Bundesliga ProB to the 2nd Bundesliga ProA. Buss played for the Würzburg team until 2011, then left the team, but stayed in town and from then on strengthened SC Heuchelhof in the 2nd regional league. Later he still played lower class for the TG Würzburg. For the TG Würzburg he also ran in the old men area and came with the team to German championship honors.

In the run-up to the 2019/20 season, Buss, who is employed full-time with a health insurance company, took over the coaching position at the regional league team TSV Neustadt am Rübenberge. He was previously the team's assistant coach.
