Lars Erik Bjørnsen (born July 20, 1982 in Bardu , Norway ) is a Norwegian handball player . His body length is 1.83 m.
Bjørnsen, who plays for the Norwegian club ØIF Arendal and plays for the Norwegian men's national handball team (shirt number 21), is mostly used on the right winger.
Lars Erik Bjørnsen started playing handball in his hometown. At the age of 18 he went to Kragerø IF in southern Norway, where he also made his debut in the Norwegian first division. Bjørnsen recommended himself for higher tasks because of his good performance; In 2007 he was signed by the Danish club Team Tvis Holstebro , with whom he won the Danish Cup a year later. From the summer of 2011 Bjørnsen ran for the Norwegian first division club Drammen HK . He ended his career there in 2014. During the 2014/15 season he joined the third division club Kragerø IF. In the summer of 2015 he signed a contract with the Norwegian first division club ØIF Arendal.
Lars Erik Bjørnsen has so far played 103 international matches for the Norwegian men's national handball team. At the men's handball world championship in 2007 in Germany, he finished in 13th place with his country and in sixth place at the 2008 European handball championship in his own country.
