Laryssa Mychaltchenko

Laryssa Mychaltschenko ( Ukrainian Лариса Михальченко , English transcription Larysa Mykhalchenko, Russian Лариса Михальченко - Larissa Michaltschenko - Larisa Mikhalchenko ; born May 16, 1963 in Lviv ) is a former Ukrainian disc thrower .

Starting for the Soviet Union , she was seventh at the World Athletics Championships in Rome in 1987 and tenth at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul . She won bronze at the 1991 World Cup in Tokyo.

In 1993, starting for the Ukraine, she was tenth at the World Championships in Stuttgart .

She achieved her best length of 70.80 m on June 18, 1988 in Kharkiv .

In 1986 she won the Spartakiad of the Soviet Peoples, in 1991 she was Soviet champion.

Laryssa Mychaltschenko is 1.81 meters tall and weighed 93 kg during her active time.
