Lauri Virtanen, 1932

Lauri Virtanen (born July 3, 1904 in Uskela , † February 8, 1982 in Turku ) was a Finnish athlete .

Virtanen won the bronze medal for the running distances of 5000 and 10,000 meters at the 1932 Olympic Games . At the European Championships two years later he reached 4th place over the shorter route.
