Last Man Standing is an album for which Jerry Lee Lewis recorded duets with various stars of the rock , country and blues scenes.
General
The album is the first studio album that Lewis has recorded since 1996. The title Last Man Standing refers to the so-called Million Dollar Quartet , to which Elvis Presley , Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins belonged. He is the only surviving member.
The album was released in 2006 on Edel Records; in the USA at Artists First. In 2009 the album was released together with Last Man Standing Live and the Last Man Standing album as a 3-CD set on Shangri-La Entertainment as a special edition. In 2007 a DVD was released that recorded concerts by Lewis with various musicians in New York City and Los Angeles , as well as a CD / DVD edition.
