The Lauenensee ( Bern German : Louenesee, Bernese Oberland : Louwenesee ) is a natural lake in the municipality of Lauenen in the canton of Bern , Switzerland . It consists of two parts separated by marshland. The two lakes and the moorland have been under protection since the 1970s.
The Lauenensee is sung about in the rock ballad of the Swiss dialect rock band Span : I gloube i gange no meh… a Louenesee.
