Laura Kneidl

Laura Kneidl (* 1990 in Erlangen ) is a German author of fantasy and romance novels. With her novels, lose me. Not. and Someone Else reached first place on the Spiegel bestseller list .

Life

Laura Kneidl studied Library and Information Management at the Hochschule der Medien in Stuttgart . She initially wrote fan fictions and ran a literary blog before devoting herself to her first novel in 2009. Today she lives and works in Leipzig .

Laura Kneidl successfully publishes novels for various publishers, mostly in the fantasy and new adult genres . Her debut novel Light and Darkness was published by Carlsen Imprint in 2013 . With her Don't Touch Me series, she was placed on the Spiegel bestseller list several times , and her novel Someone New went straight to number 2 on the bestseller list in 2019.

Laura Kneidl is a member of the Fantastik authors network . She was a member of DeLia and was nominated for the DeLiA Literature Prize in 2018 for her novel Water and Air .

In February 2020, her novel Someone Else was number 1 on the paperback bestseller list.
