Laure Marsac
Laure Marsac (born February 18, 1970 in Paris ) is a French actress who has acted in films, television films and series as well as in the theater. She has also appeared as a director and screenwriter .
Life
Laure Marsac first appeared in a movie at the age of 14 . For her role in the 1984 film The Pirate , Marsac was voted Best Young Actress in 1985 and prevailed against her rival Emmanuelle Béart , among others . With the award , Marsac followed in the footsteps of her predecessors Sophie Marceau and Sandrine Bonnaire , who were awarded the César in the same category in 1983 and 1984, respectively .
In 1988 Marsac took part in the German television production Der Bierkönig , in which she played his wife Rosa, who was decades younger than him.
Between 1990 and 1996 Laure Marsac worked several times as a stage actress.
In the new millennium, the actress appeared twice as a director and screenwriter: first in the film Une star internationale, which premiered in 2004 (in which she portrayed two of her friends, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Julie Leibowitch) and three years later (2007) in the drama Le Quatrième morceau de la femme coupée en trois .
