Laurence Cote
Laurence Côte (born February 11, 1966 in Lyon ) is a French actress .
Her debut in Petra Haffter's The Kiss of the Tiger (1988) was followed by leading roles in Jean-Charles Tacchella ( Cut Wounds , 1988), Jacques Rivette ( The Gang of Four , 1988) and Jacques Doillon ( The Revenge of a Woman , 1990). In Jean-Luc Godard's late work Nouvelle Vague , she played the young governess “Cécile” alongside Alain Delon . In 1995 she worked again with Jacques Rivette and in his film Caution: Fragile! next to Nathalie Richard and Marianne Denicourt one of the leading roles.
Further successes were "Florence" in 1996 alongside Valeria Bruni Tedeschi in Encore - Again and again women ... and in 1999 "Sandra" with Jean Yanne and Guillaume Canet in In my father's footsteps . Also seen in Germany in 2000 in the episode film drug scenes and in 2005 in Looking for Cheyenne .
After that, she only played minor roles, such as in the Luxembourg-Belgian-German production Die Räuber (2015).
