Marianne Denicourt (born May 14, 1966 in Paris ; actually Marianne Cuau ) is a French actress .

Life

Her sister is Emmanuelle Cuau , who also works as an actress, but also as a director ( Circuit Carole , 1995). From 1985 to 1986 Denicourt studied with Patrice Chéreau at the drama school of the Théâtre des Amandiers in the western Paris suburb of Nanterre . She is also named Marianne Cuau or Marianne Dénicourt in the opening and closing credits.

She was in a relationship with the actor Daniel Auteuil .

Her connection with the director Arnaud Desplechin had a literary aftermath when she published an autobiographical novel Mauvais génie together with Judith Perrignon , in which she processed the exposure of her family relationships in his film Rois et Reine . She was unsuccessful in a damages action for this allegation.

In the French elections in 2002, she supported the candidate Lionel Jospin .
