action

The former top agent Clarisse leads a rather peaceful life after the end of her civil service. She is married to the renowned, somewhat staid surgeon Antoine ; they have one child together. The prospect of change comes in handy when one day the French secret service approaches her again to hire her for a final assignment in Italy. Clarisse agrees to escape Antoine and the dreary everyday life for a while.

Under the code name "Vanilla" Clarisse travels to Capri . Highly explosive warheads from old military stocks are supposed to be smuggled out of the country with a yacht and moved to foreign terrorists. To prevent this, the secret service wants to arrest the fence and blow up the ship. For Clarisse, however, the assignment becomes a minor matter when she meets her contact: the spy Hippolyte, known as "Strawberry", a dark-skinned womanizer and poligamist with three wives. With this, Clarisse is supposed to represent a married couple on their honeymoon as camouflage, which poses both emotional and moral problems.

The chaos becomes complete when suddenly Antoine appears on Capri. He went after his wife furious with jealousy; because he fears that Clarisse is cheating on him. In view of the circumstances, Antoine initially sees himself confirmed. Clarisse must now pull out all the stops to save her marriage and to fulfill the contract. This balancing act leads to a number of entanglements in the course of the plot.

criticism

"Agent comedy that doesn't know what to do with its charming starting constellation and soon indulges in stale jokes."
