Franco Angrisano

Francesco Angrisano (born May 10, 1926 in Potenza , † September 20, 1996 in Salerno ) was an Italian actor .

Life

Angrisano, son of a railroad worker, was an Italian character actor who was part of Eduardo De Filippo's theater company for more than 15 years and only played important supporting roles in more than fifty films late in the late 1960s. He became known to the Italian audience through the TV production I ragazzi di Padre Tobia ; on the international stage this happened v. a. through his roles in Billy Wilder's Avanti, Avanti and alongside Terence Hill in Mein Name ist Nobody - as a train worker.

In later years he devoted himself to small amateur stages in order to help talented new discoveries to break through.
