Laurence van Malderen
Laurence van Malderen (born October 2, 1981 in Brussels ) is a Belgian basketball player .
The 1.94 m tall center player was active in her home country from 1998 to 2004 for Vilvorde, BCSS Namur, Mosa Jambes Namur and Waregem. She then moved to Italy to La Spezia and Spain to Acis Incosa León for one year each. Since 2005 she has been playing in Italy again, first for Acetum Cavezzo and then for Lavezzini Basket Parma.
Laurence van Malderen finished seventh with the Belgian national team at the 2007 European Championships in Italy .
Since 2016 she has been playing for Kangoeroes Basket Willebroek in Belgium.
