Laurent Grandguillaume (born January 20, 1978 in Besançon ) is a French politician . He has been a member of the French National Assembly since 2012 .

Grandguillaume studied economics in Dijon and obtained a master's degree . From 2001 he worked for François Rebsamen , the mayor of Dijon. In 2003 he was elected to the national council of the Parti socialiste , which he joined in 1996. In 2008 he became Deputy Mayor of Dijon and also moved to the General Council of the Côte-d'Or department . In the parliamentary elections in 2012 , he ran successfully in the first constituency of the department and entered the National Assembly. In the same year he was elected deputy secretary of the PS and thus to the party's national office.
