Lavalle is the capital of the Lavalle department of the same name in the Corrientes province in northeast Argentina . It is located on the banks of the Río Paraná , between the cities of Goya and Santa Lucía . In the classification of communes in the province of Corrientes, the place belongs to the 3rd category.
