The Lavrenov Point (English; Bulgarian Лавренов нос Lawrenow nos ) is a headland on the north coast of Robert Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 2.7 km west of Newell Point , 2.6 km southeast of Catharina Point and limits the entrance to Yundola Cove to the east .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2008. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in the same year after the Bulgarian painter Zanko Lavrenow (1896–1978).
