The station is in the median of Allen Road, a multi-lane slip road to Highway 401 , under the Lawrence Avenue bridge. The enclosed platform area is also bridged by a bus turning loop with a stop zone. Glass walls and wide stairs accentuate the openness of the station, the glass is framed by a characteristic orange-colored metal grille. Orange framed skylights in the platform roof let in natural daylight; the benches are prism-shaped and made of yellow, orange and brown ceramic tiles . Similar tiles adorn the floor and the central pillars. The architecture firm Dunlop Farrow Aitken was responsible for the design . Spacing ... Aerial Highways , a 90 meter long tile mural by Claude Breeze, adorns the entrance area on Lawrence Avenue.
