Layla Moran
Layla Michelle Moran (born September 12, 1982 in London ) is a British politician who is a member of the British House of Commons for the Liberal Democrats .
Life
Moran is of Christian - Palestinian descent and studied physics and comparative education at Imperial College London , University College London and Brunel University .
Moran has represented the constituency of Oxford West and Abingdon in the House of Commons since the UK general election in 2017 , making him the first British MP of Palestinian descent. She is running for the party leadership of the Liberal Democrats.
Moran is openly pansexual .
