Cistercian Abbey Le Jardin
The Cistercian Abbey Le Jardin was a convent of the Cistercian Sisters in Pleurs , a municipality in the Marne department in France , from 1229 to 1403 .

The fourteen in 1229 kilometers southeast Sézanne in Pleurs (between the Cistercian abbeys Le Reclus and Sellières ) donated nunnery Le Jardin-Notre-Dame "Mariengarten" (also: Notre-Dame du Jardin-lez-Pleurs "Our Lady of the Garden at Pleurs ”) Existed until 1403. Then the complex fell to the Cistersian Abbey of Jouy , which it served as a grangie until it was finally destroyed by the Huguenots in 1567 . Today only the field name Bois du Jardin (also: Boisjardin ) is evidence of the former abbey.
