Le Jules Verne is a tower restaurant on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower in Paris , named after the writer Jules Verne . It specializes in classic French cuisine . The Michelin Guide awarded the restaurant a star .

The decor was designed by Patrick Jouin and shows the metallic structures of the Eiffel Tower.

Chef Alain Ducasse has been the restaurant's manager since December 2007. One of the previous owners was Louis Vaudable, owner of the famous Maxim’s restaurant, also located in Paris .

On July 13, 2017, French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte gave a dinner in the restaurant in honor of the American President couple Donald Trump and his wife Melania .
