Le Plateau de Diesse
Le Plateau de Diesse is the name of a merger project on Tessenberg, Canton Bern , Switzerland.
The Montagne de Diesse region on the slope of the Chasseral is west of the city of Biel and consists of the two communities Plateau de Diesse and Nods .
On March 11, 2012, the vote of No by Nods prevented the implementation of the merger project. In Prêles , Diesse and Lamboing , a majority of those who voted approved the project. These three municipalities merged on January 1, 2014 to form the new municipality of Plateau de Diesse .
