Plateau de Diesse is a merged municipality in the Bernese Jura administrative district of the canton of Bern .

The new community was created on January 1, 2014 from the formerly independent communities Diesse , Lamboing and Prêles .

The municipality of Plateau de Diesse was created on January 1, 2014 through the merger of the previously independent municipalities of Diesse , Lamboing and Prêles . The municipality of Nods withdrew from the merger project at an earlier point in time.

population

With 2048 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2018), Plateau de Diesse is one of the larger communities in the Bernese Jura .

The voting shares of the parties in the 2015 National Council election were: SVP 32.6%, SP 28.9%, GPS 10.0%, FDP 8.3%, glp 5.5%, BDP 4.3%, EDU 3.8 %, EVP 2.0%, PdA 1.5%, CVP 1.5%.
