The Lebed Lake ( English ; Russian Озеро Лебедь Osero Lebed , German 'Swan Lake' ) is a salt water lake on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It is located in the southern part of the Vestfold Mountains .
Aerial photographs were taken during the US operation Highjump (1946–1947), during a Soviet Antarctic expedition in 1956 and during the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions in 1957 and 1958. Russian scientists named him. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia transferred this designation in a partial translation into English.
