Lee is an impact crater in the southwest of the lunar front , on the southern edge of Mare Humorum , south of Doppelmayer crater and west of Vitello . The crater wall is very badly eroded and completely disappeared in the northeast, the interior is flooded by the lavas of the Mare .

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after British astronomer John Lee .
