Lee Chang-myung (also: Ri Chan Myong ; born January 2, 1947 ) is a former North Korean soccer goalkeeper . Lee Chang-myung started playing football in 1953. With the national team of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea , he took part in the 1966 World Cup in England ; Here Lee Chang-myung with the shirt number "1" played all four games against the Soviet Union , Chile , Italy (each group stage) and Portugal (quarter-finals). In 1966 he was at Kikwancha Pyongyangunder contract. In addition, the goalkeeper was used in five World Cup qualifying games against Australia , Syria (two games each) and Iran (one game) in 1965 and 1973 . In 2001 he worked as a trainer for the April 25th sports group .
Lee Chang-myung starred in the documentary The Game of Their Lives in October 2002 .
