Lee Jin-kwon , best known under the English transcription Lee Jinkwon , ( Korean 이진권; born November 3, 1987 in Seoul ) is a former South Korean table tennis player . In 2008 he was runner-up with the team. The Korean is right-handed and uses the European shakehand stick position as a handle .

Career

Even in his youth, Lee was one of the most successful players. He represented his country three times at youth world championships, winning bronze in doubles in 2004 and 2005 (with Han Ji.min) and a silver medal with the team.

In 2007 he was able to qualify for the Grand Finals through good performances on the Pro Tour, where Lee and Ryu Seung-min could reach the quarter-finals in doubles. In 2008 he won the silver medal at the World Cup with the team after a final defeat against China . From 2009 he appeared less frequently internationally.
