Lee Michaels

Lee Michaels (born Michael Olsen on November 24, 1945 in Los Angeles ) is an American singer and multi-instrumentalist.

Life

Lee Michaels started his career with the surfing group The Sentinals in San Luis Obispo . He later moved to San Francisco where he joined the group The Family Tree. In 1967 he signed a recording deal with A&M Records and released his debut album Carnival of Life in 1968 . Another 9 albums followed in the following years. In 1975 Lee Michaels retired from the public. On December 19, 1968, he married the actress Mary Hughes and had two children.
