Leen Vente

Leendert Roelof Jan "Leen" Vente (born May 14, 1911 in Rotterdam , † November 9, 1989 ) was a Dutch football player .

During his career, Vente played for the two Dutch clubs Neptunus and Feyenoord Rotterdam . He scored the first goal at the opening game of De Kuip Stadium in 1937 .

Between 1933 and 1940 Vente played 21 international matches for the Dutch national football team , in which he scored 19 goals. He took part in the World Championships in Italy in 1934 and in France in 1938 .
