The Leeson Point is a striking and frozen headland that the northeastern foothills of Montagu Iceland in the archipelago of the South Sandwich Islands is.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1974 after Lieutenant John Leeson (* 1933) of the Royal Navy , chief navigator on the patrol boat HMS Protector to explore the South Sandwich Islands in 1964.
