The Lehnssee is a natural body of water in the area of the city of Biesenthal in the Brandenburg district of Barnim . It is located about four kilometers from the city center in the Oberheide, near the northern border between Biesenthal and the Finowfurt district of the Schorfheide community .
The Lehnssee is located in the NSG Finowtal-Pregnitzfließ . It has an area of 8.9 hectares and is surrounded by an extensive silting zone. A wide belt of reeds lines the bank area . The lake is connected by ditches with the river system of the Finow , which flows 180 meters to the west and north of the Lehnssee.
